Year 2022/23

• Achieving a record number of 4,408 awarded companies / organisations with 395 are listed companies
• Out of 1,560 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “10 Consecutive Years Logo” and out of 809 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “15 Consecutive Years Logo”
• 25% of companies and organisations using products from social enterprises and 5,000 purchases made which amount to around HK$7,800,000

Year 2019/20

• Companies form a parthership with 480 NGOs
• Achieving a record number of 4,000 awarded companies / organisations with some 56% SMEs
• Out of 846 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “10 Consecutive Years Logo” and out of 415 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “15 Consecutive Years Logo”

Year 2018/19

• A new "Social Needs X-perience zone" was introduced in The Caring Company Partnership Expo 2018. It allows participation to experience and visualize scoial needs through interactive devices.
• "Nurturing the New Generations" seminar explored not only the career planning support for the youths, but also possible cooperation between the business and NGO.

Year 2017/18

• Achieving a record number of 3,697 awarded companies / organisations with some 50% SMEs
• Out of 974 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “10 Consecutive Years Logo” and out of 219 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “15 Consecutive Years Logo”

Year 2016/17

• Addition of The "15 Years Plus Caring Company Logo" and “Business for Sustainability”
• Celebration of 15th Anniversary with 3,478 awardees of companies and organisations
• Out of 831 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “10 Consecutive Years Logo” and out of 15 awardees of companies and organisations achieved “15 Consecutive Years Logo”
• No. of Exhibition booths at Caring Company Partnership Expo increased to 120

Year 2015/16

• Achieving a record number of 3,000 awarded companies / organisations with some 50% SMEs
• No. of Exhibition booths at Caring Company Partnership Expo surpassed 100

Year 2014/15

• Development of “Sustainable Business HK “to engage and support companies on the journey from caring to sustainable
• Formation of “Caring SME Alliance” (The Alliance) to promote and encourage more SMEs and stakeholders practicing corporate social responsibility (CSR) through participation, education, sharing and research

Year 2013/14

• Launch of The "List of Barrier-free Companies / Organisations" and "Outstanding Award for Social Inclusion"

Year 2011/12

• Celebration of 10th Anniversary with over 4,000 people attending the Caring Company NGO Partnership Day on 3 May 2012
• Out of 2,510 awardees of companies and organisations in 2011/12, 130 awardees achieved “10 Consecutive Years Logo” in recognition of their continuous efforts in Caring for the Community, Employees and Environment
• Addition of The "10 Years Plus Caring Company Logo"

Year 2010/11

• Establishment of the “HKCSS CSR Institute” to provide a platform in advancing the knowledge and practice of CSR through training and sharing of best practices
• CSR Seminar 2010: Advancement of knowledge and practice in CSR
• Publication of “The CSR Guide for SMEs in Hong Kong”, a joint project between HKCSS and CSR Asia funded by the Sustainable Development Fund

Year 2009/10

• Achieving a record number of 2,000 awarded companies/organisations with 40% SMEs
• Commissioning the Public Opinion Programme at the University of Hong Kong to conduct survey to understand public’s perception of the Scheme and CSR
• CSR Hong Kong Conference 2009: “Enhancing Employee Wellness”, “Enhancing Life Chance for Next Generation”, and “Towards an Environmentally-Friendly and Sustainable Society through CSR”
• Mapping the different criteria into three adjudication scopes and further raising the bar for the Scheme: “Caring for the Community”, “Caring for the Employees” and “Caring for the Environment”

Year 2008/09

• CSR Seminar 2008: " Caring for the Environment • Making Hong Kong a Great Place to Live"

Year 2007/08

• Addition of a new adjudication scope under “Environment” aiming at progressively raising the bar of the Scheme
• Addition of “5 Years Plus Caring Company Logo” to recognise companies for fulfilling three items or more in the six Criteria of the Scheme
• CSR Hong Kong Conference 2007 - “Making Hong Kong a Great Place to Work and to Live”

Year 2006/07

• Achieving a record number of 1,000 awarded companies/organisations with some 30% SMEs
• Addition of “5 Consecutive Years Caring Company Logo” to recognise companies for fulfilling three items or more in the six criteria of the Scheme
• Leaders’ Forum on “Corporate Social Responsibility – The New Drive for Hong Kong”
• Publication of CSR PULSE magazine and “Business and Social Service Partnerships - A Hong Kong Casebook”

Year 2005/06

• Launch of “The Caring Organisation Logo” to recognise Caring Organisations
• Launch of The “SME Community Participation Award” to recognise distinguished SMEs in caring for the community
• Publication of a tool book on corporate community involvement titled “Corporate Community Programme – Steps and Practices” aiming at facilitating companies, particularly SMEs to connect with social service organisations in serving the community
• Launch of Caring Company Patron’s Club to advance the promotion and practice of CSR through partnership with leading business corporations

Year 2004/05

• Launch of The “Total Caring Award” and Caring Ambassadors
• 19 companies have been awarded over the years

Year 2003/04

• Launch of The “Outstanding Partnership Project Award”
• 40 projects have been awarded over the years

Year 2002/03

• Establishment of the Caring Company Scheme
• 259 companies awarded Caring Company Logo in first year
• Initial focus of Scheme: to encourage more business commitment in CSR by setting lower threshold of nomination criteria
