Creating a Happy Workplace” Sharing Series (2nd Seminar) ~ Friendly Workplace - Community support for the on-job Caregivers

. The second seminar of the “Creating a Happy Workplace” Sharing Series, ‘Friendly Workplace - Community support for the on-job Caregivers’ was successfully held on 4 January, with around 60 employees from our Caring Company/ Caring Organisation.

. In the first section, we have guest speakers Mr. Raymond Lai, Business Director of HKCSS and Mr. Peace Wong, Chief Officer (Policy Research and Advocacy) of HKCSS to share the results of《照顧者喘息需要研究》survey. We then invited Ms. Vivien Yau, Office-in-Charge of the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres, Ms. Ada Tsui, Senior Social Work Supervisor of the Caritas Jockey Club Resource and Support Centre for Carers, and Ms. Christina Lo, Project Director of the Big Silver, to introduce useful and updated information on community support for caregivers in Hong Kong.

. In the second session, Ms. Samantha Che, Vice President Head of People & Culture for the Sun Hung Kai & Co Limited, and Mr. Tony Cheung, General Manager of the Ultra Active Technology Limited to share their experience on implementing caregivers’ friendly measures in their corporates and both the corporate and employees benefit from their policies.

Through the networking corner, the participants were able to know more about community resources, and understand more about cross sector partnership in order to explore new partners and collaboration ideas.
