Early-bird deadline for HKCSS Agency Members and Special Awards of Outstanding Partnership Project Award, List of Barrier-free Companies / Organisations will be closed on 20 September 2019 (Friday). Don’t miss the early-bird deadline! Please note the below information:
1. For postal nomination, date of the stamp chop will be used as the submission date. 2. Cut-off time of the online nomination system would be set on at 6pm on 20 Sep, 2019. 3. The Nomination Status should be “Completed” if submission through online nomination system and processing fee must be submitted on or before 20 Sep 2019, 6pm (based on the stamp chop date if postal). Incomplete nomination form and late submission will NOT be processed.
The Caring Company Scheme 2019/20 – Information and Sharing Sessions Highlight
Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility and strengthening cross-sectoral partnership between corporate and charitable organisations has always been the mission embraced by the Caring Company Scheme. 3 Information and Sharing Sessions were organized on 4 June, 11 Jul & 8 Aug 2019 respectively. The events have strengthened the relationship, cooperation and knowledge sharing between audiences of the business and social service sectors. SHKP Rainbow with KIDS SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – To Support Underprivileged Children and Young people)
Our Council has launched “SHKP Rainbow with KIDS” since 2017 by providing diversed services to children who have undergone traumatic family crises. Over 420 children have received the services to relieve their psychological stress as well as re-build their confidence for future. In fall 2018, a local original picture book 《我家來了一頭大象》was published to raise public awareness of the subject. The book has gained positive feedback from NGOs and readers for being a helpful intervention and effective parent-child communication tool. This picture book was awarded the Publishing Award in Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards 2019.
This project has been funded through the proceeds and donations of ‘SHKP Vertcial Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC’. If you wish to give a hand to help more children and young people in need, please enroll now for the event.
