The nomination of 2024 Community Business Awards is now open (Updated deadline: 3 May 2024) (English Version Only)

The Community Business Awards are the market's most valued, credible and rigorous awards for the celebration of DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and wellbeing practices in Asia. Community Business have expanded to 23 awards for the 2024 Awards in the following sub-categories:

  • Creating Social Impact - sub-category for community organisations and leaders
  • General DE&I
  • LGBT+ Inclusion
  • Wellbeing
  • India

Due to feedback from multiple clients and partners about the timing of the awards, coupled with Community Business’ commitment to employee wellbeing on their side, they are extending the nomination deadline to Friday 3 May 2024, with a view to announcing the winners in a ceremony in September. To showcase your efforts on the DE&I and wellbeing in Asia, please submit the nomination(s) on or before 3 May 2024 (Fri).

2023 Community Business Wellbeing Conference: Creating Sustainable Wellbeing Pathways Using a Holistic Lens(English Version Only)

Following major disruption in recent years, societies are undergoing rapid changes and developments. This opens the challenge of building a wellbeing culture for today, tomorrow and the future. Community Business is creating their first in-person Wellbeing Conference focusing exactly on this; how do we create a wellbeing culture for today and the future?

 The event will include:

  • Panel Discussions - focusing on the future of wellbeing suitable for the workforce and identifying the challenges we face both in and out of the workplace.
  • Wellness Showcase - supported by Total Loyalty Company Limited (TLC) showcasing some fun and engaging wellness activities for office engagement.
  • Collaborative Discussions - a guided, interactive discussion focusing on identifying the building blocks to create a wellbeing culture that promotes wellbeing to all.
  • Presentations - tune into presentations from previous Community Business Wellbeing Award Winners to learn about their successes and pick up tips to take back to your place of work

Practical Money Management Toolkits

The Investor and Financial Education Council offers practical toolkits to help working adults better manage their personal finances. You are encouraged to share them with your staff and service users.

  • Online Money Management Toolkit – Provides free interactive tools to help you better plan and manage your personal finances.
  • Retirement Planning Toolkit – Consists of the retirement readiness quiz, basic steps in retirement planning and an action checklist to help you plan ahead for retirement.

Jockey Club Water Initiative on Sustainability and Engagement (JC-WISE) - “Water Wise Campaign”
Launched in 2016, JC-WISE is a project funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and hosted by The University of Hong Kong, which aims to raise the public’s awareness of the importance of attaining long-term water sustainability goals for Hong Kong.

Using the concept of Water Footprint, the “Water Wise Campaign” provides business and NGOs with an innovative perspective to contribute towards water sustainability through encouraging food waste reduction and better consumption choices.

JC-WISE offers free on-site display materials and outreach events, and bespoke recommendations for “low water footprint” menu at participating organisations’ canteens or restaurants.

CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre Free Online Virtual Tour
Sponsored by CLP Power, The CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre in City University of Hong Kong is now launching free online virtual tour. Centre Ambassador Alien Fox will introduce the power generation principles and characteristics of different low carbon energy sources in an interactive way. Visitors could learn more about why diversified fuel mix is important in combating the challenges of climate change.
