The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) published the Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide (ESG Reporting Guide) in 2013 to provide a reporting framework for listed companies and to require them to report on their work in the ESG aspects annually. In recent years, many SME are implementing ESG factors to help increase productivity. In the long run, ESG can be a tool for SMEs to develop a business growth and pursue new market opportunities.
