A fundraising event of “SHKP Vertical Run for Charity 2016 – Race to Hong Kong ICC”, which was organized by Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties), took place on 4 December 2016. With the generous support by Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited, The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) has launched “SHKP Rainbow with KIDS”. 3 NGOs with rich experience in serving the children with family tragedies, including The Hong Kong Catholic Marriage Advisory Council, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service and Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, participated to provide professional counseling and support services for about 160 children aged below 18 who have encountered the bereavement of parents, family violence, parental separation or divorce and/or other family crises in the past 12 months.
“SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC”, which was organized by Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (Sun Hung Kai Properties), took place on 6 December 2015. Local sports enthusiasts and overseas elite runners challenged 2,120 stairs at the International Commerce Centre (ICC) in this annual charitable sporting event. All proceeds from the race go to children and youth services in Hong Kong.
In late January 2011, the sky100 and the Hong Kong Council of Social Service invited near 3,000 of the underprivileged from over 50 agency members and WiseGiving charities to a free preview tour at the deck to experience the 360 degree views of the city and the world-renowned Victoria Harbour before the soft opening.
Under Ma Wan Park-HKCSS joint initiative to promote social harmony, 6,000 of the underprivileged visited the Noah’s Ark in a pre-opening tour.
