The Caregiver-friendly Companies/Organisations is a special recognition list newly launched under the 2024-25 Caring Company Scheme, aimed at identifying and recognising companies/organisations that support the needs of caregivers in workplace. It also seeks to raise ongoing awareness among stakeholders about caregivers support, and to promote cross-sector collaboration in building a caregivers-friendly community.
There is no requirement for companies and organisations to submit a separate application and application fee for the Caregiver-Friendly Company/Organisation recognition. All submissions for the Caring Company Scheme which meet the eligibility requirements and complete the Scheme application process will be automatically entered into the assessment process for this special listing.
Information provided by applicants in Form B and supporting documents will be evaluated, as well as public information where necessary. Special recognition will be awarded based on overall performance. To qualify, companies and organisations must be recipients of the Caring Company or Caring Organisation Logo for the current year and demonstrate outstanding performance in the following areas:rnrnu0026nbsp;rnrn1) Workplace dimension: Implementation of policies, benefits and facilities to support caregivers in workplace; andrnrn2) Customer and Community dimension: Addressing the needs of caregivers through business models and community service initiatives.
The Caregiver-Friendly Company/Organisation logo is an extension of the Caring Company Scheme brand. The design is centred around the letters u0022Cu0022 and u0022G,u0022 a direct reference to the word u0022Caregiver.u0022 Upon closer inspection, one can see two figures gently embraced, symbolising the support, and emotional bond between the caregiver and the care recipient. The leaf-shaped tip of the u0022Gu0022 represents growth and hope, embodying our commitment to fostering sustainable and positive support for caregivers.
