Top Executives from Caring Companies’ shared their business wisdom with over 50 NGO leaders.

On 15 June 2010, four caring companies namely, IBM China/Hong Kong Limited, MTR Corporation, NWS Holdings Limited and Sino Group joined a networking luncheon and shared with NGOs senior executives coming from 50 nonprofits on how an organization could be run more effectively and efficiently in the ever-changing environment. Below were the topics they shared:

– Mr Dominic Tong, General Manager, IBM China/Hong Kong Limited – IBM’s change and transformation
– Mr Lincoln Leong, Finance u0026amp; Business Development Director, MTR Corporation – A Sustainable Operating Model for NGOs
– Mr Patrick Lam, Executive Director, NWS Holdings Limited – Corporate Communication
– Mr Randy Yu, General Manager, Sino Group – Sustainability

The luncheon is one of the major activities of the program u0022NGO Executive Leadership Development 2010u0022 which is organized by the HKCSS and sponsored by the UPS Foundation. Top NGO executives have form learning groups in the program with the objectives of developing new leadership of the sector, strengthening sharing and mutual support network and promoting management effectiveness so as to contribute better to the community.

The theme of the Program is Lead – Network – Influence, support and advices from the Caring Companies business leaders had enhanced the learning experience of the participants in leading their organizations. Mr Bernard Chan, host of the luncheon, thanked the participation and advices from the caring companies and said that he had been looking forward to more sharing activities from different sectors to support the NGO leaders in running their organizations.
