Business Leaders Talked About the Next Step of the Caring Company Scheme

It was a precious moment for ten and more leaders of the Caring Company Patron’s Club met at breakfast on 24 April 2008 (Thursday), in Conrad Hong Kong. Hosted by the Hon Bernard Chan, Chairperson and Ms Christine Fang, Chief Executive of HKCSS, it was a networking event for business leaders of different industries in the Patron’s Club to exchange views on the future development of the Caring Company Scheme, which is a sustainable platform to promote Corporate Social Responsibility in Hong Kong. The Caring Company Patron’s Club has been launched in 2005/06, with 16 corporate members at that time. The Club Members has been contributing in terms of resources and expertise, to support the enhancement of CSR awareness in Hong Kong. The Club has now consisted of 40 corporate members, of which 13 are in the Jade category and 27 are in the Coral category.
The similar kind of gathering will continue in late May 2008.
