A Community Donation Campaign by CRHK to Promote a Giving Culture and Caring for the Community, In collaboration with The Commercial Radio Hong Kong (CRHK), the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Red Cross, Agency of Volunteer Service and Hospital Authority – Department of Health, a Community Donation Campaign has been launched in July to promote giving culture and caring for the community to the public and the business sector.

From July to Oct this year, CRHK will promote 4 different donation methods, namely Volunteering, blood donation, giving and organ donation. NWS Holdings Limited (NWS) was one of the corporations involved in the said campaign and helped promote organ donation to their staff during their staff birthday party held on 23 July.

Hosts from CRHK and representatives from Department of Health also joined the said celebrating birthday party, organ donation leaflets and souvenirs were delivered to NWS staff. Besides, interviews have been conducted with the management of NWS and they fully support the promotion of organ donation to their staff. Some of the NWS staff also indicated that they will register online to be an organ donation register and promise to promote organ donation to others colleagues and their families.
