The GOOD SOLUTIONS – Launching Ceremony cum Sharing of Best CSR Practices u0022Practicing Responsible Procurement and Corporate Social Responsibilitiesu0022 was successfully held on 15 April 2013 with over 120 participants.
Speakers included representatives from Giormani, Ms. Jane Tong, Co-founder u0026amp; Managing Director, L’Oreal, Hong Kong, Ms. Lisa Wong, Director of Communication, Public Affairs u0026amp; Sustainable Development, The Peninsula Hong Kong, Ms. Winvy Lung, Public Relations Manager, and DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Ms. Glendy Chu, Head of Group Strategic Marketing u0026amp; Communications, Hong Kong. Speakers shared their experience on Responsible Procurement and Corporate Social Responsibilities.
A kick-off ceremony of u0022Good Solutionsu0022 project was also launched. Mr. KM Wong, Director, Fung (1906) Foundation Ltd and Mr Chua Hoi Wai, Business Director, Policy Research and Advocacy, officiated at the ceremony and encouraged more companies to purchase products and services provided by Social Enterprises and to integrate responsible procurement into their procurement policies.

– Good Office: Purchase products with social meaning, use eco-friendly products to create an environmental friendly office, enable a consignment corner of the products with social meaning at workplace
– Good Staff: Provide employees opportunity to connect to the community and to understand the social needs by participating in social awareness programmes and social tours
– Good Policy: Implement responsible procurement policy and give priority to vendors with social mission when ordering products and services
– Good Impact Fund: Set up funding to facilitate and support the development of social enterprise
