HKCSS CSR Institute and WWF – Hong Kong jointly organized a workshop titled u0022Low Carbon Manufacturing Programme (LCMP) Workshop, Low-carbon Manufacturing and Corporate Social Responsibilityu0022 from February 25 – 26, 2013. The workshop aims at preparing manufacturers for the forthcoming challenges and opportunities raising from climate change. The workshop also provide information about LCMP implementation, share best practices in improving energy and carbon efficiency, and help companies to formulate their business strategies in addressing climate change and sustainability.
The workshop was well attended with over 30 participants coming from different industries. Besides, two guest speakers were invited to share topics on u0022Sustainability business case studyu0022 and u0022Experience on Product Carbon Footprintingu0022. They were Dr. John Leung, Director of Executive MBA Programme, and City University of Hong Kong and Mr. Victor C.L. Kwong, Head of Corporate Health, Safety and Environment, The Hong Kong u0026amp; China Gas Company Limited.
